The FNM Restaurant Picker was my first real attempt at a dynamic, database driven web site. What would possess me to make such a thing? First and foremost, I wanted to learn a little about PHP and MySQL. PHP has become quite popular for building small to medium size dynamic sites. I did a restaurant picker because I wanted something that my friends and I could conceivably use. We had talked about doing something similar for years. What does "FNM" mean?
